Mr. Jyoti Prakash Gadia is considered as thought leader in area of finance & strategic leadership, he is an all-round professional with wide experience. He has worked very closely with many corporate & government organizations in successful turnaround of their operations & providing strategic advisory on financial services. After completion, his studies in 1998, he started his career as head of the finance vertical in Bhagwati Gases Limited. Within span of 7 years, he made it possible to completely turnaround the company both financially & operationally. Thereafter he started Resurgent India Limited in the year 2005 with a very modest and humble beginning & put Resurgent India Limited on a higher pedestal with his sheer devotion and commitment to the cause of business fraternity. RIL now has 6 offices across India & proudly employ more than 150 professionals and technocrats.

He has also played a very impactful role in setting up the affairs of the School of Finance of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs set up by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India which reflects his strong belief and commitment to corporate education system in the country.

  • Bank Statement Analyzer: In-House developed application wherein the Users (our clients) can get an analysis of their client’s bank statement. The output report based on the analysis of this statement provides an in-depth insight in the credit & debit transactions, in-house/related company transactions, cash-flows, loan, interest, cheque returns, online returns, investments, salary, tax, debtors & creditors transactions, exceptional transactions, and various other transactions of the company, etc. The Output reports can be customized as per the requirements of our clients.   • Company Information Report (MCA Report): An online platform which can help the credit team to have an instant evaluation of the company. The system captures the financial data from the public domain, churns and turns it into a detailed output report with the analysis of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statements, Shareholding Pattern, External Credit Ratings, Director Details, Loan Charge Details, Legal Data, etc.
  • GSTR Analyser: This involves fetching the data from GSTN server based on the User ID and Password provided by the client and analysing it for a detailed examination of the Debtors & Creditors of the entity. Along with the analysis of Sales and Purchase data, the report will also be comprised of Regular Customers & Suppliers, Trend of transactions (Business vs In-House), Defected & Returned products etc.
  • ITR Analysis: The ITR data is either directly fetched or processed from the XML/PDF file uploaded for further understanding of the income and financial parameters present in the Income Tax Return. The parameters vary as per the type filing done by the applicant.
  • Data Aggregation Platform: Further any kind of KYC for the identity documents, e.g., GST Registration, Udyog Aadhar Number, ITR, Shop & Establishment document, Director KYCs etc. declared by the company by following it with a legal background check of the company.

  • Under Mr. Gadia’s leadership, Resurgent India Limited is embarking on several new initiatives such as Credit Rating Advisory Services focusing on MSMEs and a MSME-focused Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). The primary objective of these initiatives is to provide much-needed services to the underserved MSME segment that contributes to approx. 8% of GDP and over 8 cr. of employment of India.
  • Resurgent India is also empanelled with leading public sector banks for conducting Techno Economic Viability studies.
  • Mr. Gadia is an established subject matter expert in Banking & Finance domains.   • Mr. Gadia played a key role in evolving the technology of the platform (www.tushky.com) from a simple listing website to a full-fledged e-commerce platform. He also helped in an important technology tie-up with a team based in Silicon valley, California USA
  • Mr. Gadia was instrumental in the company’s capital raising efforts. He helped the company raise its first round of funding from “GSF Accelerator” – a prestigious incubation and funding agency and a group of angel investors. This was followed by a larger round of funding from “500 Start-up”, a marquee start-up funding agency based out of Silicon Valley, California USA.
  • Mr. Gadia continues to guide the company as a Director on the Board and is now helping them inachieving the next stage of growth and raise a larger round of capital from a venture Capital firm.   • Inducting a new CEO into the company. He helped the founder handpick an ex CEO of Kuoni Travels (one of the largest travel companies globally), establish a commercial arrangement and induct thenew CEO into the business.
  • Mr. Gadia is currently leading the demerger process of the company with “Make My Trip” that owns ~38% of the company. As part of this he is also helping the company in raising capital from a Venture Capital firm.
  • Ginni Systems Ltd: Ginni Systems is a leading “Point-of-Sale” software and retail ERP providers to small and medium sized retailers in India. Mr. Gadia saw immense potential in the SME segment of retail and helped the promoter of the company Mr. Prashant Lohia in setting up the company including providing seed capital and dedicating significant time in establishing and steering the company in its early days till it became a formidable player in its segment – competing with large companies such as Polaris, Microsoft etc. Some of the areas he played an active role are:

Mr. Gadia has been closely involved with Duet Group since its inception in India and played key role across the following initiatives:
  • Playing an active role as a bouncing board alongside the management in creating business strategy, detailed business plan and execution plan to achieve its vision
  • Raising finance for development of hotel projects across tier-1 and tier-2 cities of India fromdomestic and international lending Institutions.
  • Advise the management on the structure of joint venture with InterContinental Hotel group (IHG) as well as negotiating commercial agreements with Mahindra Group for development of hotel properties in Mahindra World City SEZ Amneal Pharmaceuticals: Amneal is founded by Patel Brothers of Indian origin and is one of the fastest growing U.S. developers, manufacturers and distributors of generic drugs and is ranked no 7 in USA in terms of Mr. Gadia played a key role in the company as follows:
  • Helped the company in making its maiden investments in India including opening of a 75,000 square feet R&D Center, setting up of US FDA approved new manufacturing facility and API facility in Ahmadabad and Vishakhapatnam respectively.
  • Mr. Gadia continues to play a very important role in the Indian operations of the Company including overseeing the development of 2 new upcoming facilities in Ahmadabad in oral solids and injectable dosage forms covering total 350,000 sq. feet of manufacturing facility
  • Mr. Gadia also played an important role in raising capital for Indian operations of the company from domestic as well as overseas financial institutions
  • SARE Homes: SARE India is a subsidiary of a Cyprus based real estate focused Private Equity fund. Currently SARE has a portfolio of 7 projects (total 24,000 apartments with over 37 mn sq. ft. saleable area) in Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Amritsar, OMR Chennai, Kolathur Chennai, Indore, & Panvel. Mr. Gadia played an instrumental role in establishing the business in India including:
  • Creating business strategy, detailed business plan and execution plan to achieve its vision. Mr. Gadia played a key role in articulating the strategy of the company of focusing into affordable residential projects in tier-1 cities which is a key need for service-class people residing in Indian metros and tier-1 cities

  •   CONTRIBUTION TO INDIAN MSME CORPORATES – A Case Study Manyavar: largest men’s ethnic wear company in India based in Kolkata with footprint across the country now with close to 500 stores with a turnover reaching INR 350 crore. Mr. Gadia has been involved with the founder of Manyavar, Mr. Ravi Modi from the time when Mr. Modi was operating a single apparel store in Kolkata. Some of the key milestones achieved by the Company under the able leadership of its Promoter and association with Mr. Gadia on various situations are – Playing an active role as a bouncing board alongside the Promoter and the Company Board in creating firm's strategy and execution plan to achieve its vision. • Developing the initial firm protocols like Standard Operating Procedures and Management Guidelines. • Assisting the Promoter in resolving issues that they faced around product sourcing, store profitability, employee issues, operational challenges to name a few. • Professionalizing the company fully including identification of independent board members and inducting Ernst & Young through their member audit firm S.R.
